I realy hate sewing buttons on but changed the buttons on my French greatcoat for genuine WW2 US ones and it was well worth it
Am now considering(depends on cost)going the whole hog and getting the belt altered and adding buttons to the skirt vent.I know only cosmetic but if the seamstress wont be too expensive then what the hell
